Sarah Buck has been nominated for Teacher of the Year

For over a decade, Sarah Buck has put her students’ needs first as an English teacher at Les Beaucamps High School.

Sarah has been teaching for 16 years but a large portion of her career has been spent at the high school.

Sarah’s work in the English department and across the institution has led to a nomination for the Core Fund Services-sponsored award.

‘Mrs Buck is a kind-hearted and caring individual who always puts her students needs first,’ said Mrs Buck’s nominator, who wishes to remain anonymous.

‘She well and truly lights up whatever room she walks into.’

Mrs Buck’s nominator also highlighted the extra efforts made for diversity and inclusion within Les Beaucamps.

‘She is extremely helpful to students with learning difficulties and I am extremely proud to see her be a spokesperson for neurodiversity – I truly believe she is deserving of this award.’
