AN ‘ABSOLUTE hero’ has been nominated for Angel of the Year, in the form of Dr Ruth Taberner from L’Aumone Surgery.
Together with her personal assistant Teena Gordon, Dr Tabenerer's care and attention has been recognised by a long-term patient for the Ravenscroft-sponsored award.
‘She has been my GP for most of my life,’ Dr Taberner’s nominator said.
‘No other doctor would go above and beyond for their patients like she does – she’s kind, gentle, listens and really puts her heart and soul into ensuring that her patients receive the best care they can.’
Dr Taberner has been working at L’Aumone Surgery since January 2023 and was joined by Teena at the start of this year.
‘Dr Taberner, you saved me – I couldn’t think of anyone better to receive this reward than Ruth,’ the nominator added.
