James Le Flem has been nominated for the Carer of the Year award

James’ undeniable dedication and love for his father Michael Le Flem, who sadly passed away back in January, has been displayed through the hours of time into making sure his father received all the help he needed. 

‘James is there for everyone and has time for everyone,’ said James’ nominator who would like to remain anonymous. 

As well as having his own family and working a full-time job, James made the time to visit his father every morning, evening and 

lunchtime. 

He put him to bed every night and supported his father while in Guy’s Hospital.

‘I’m a bit shocked,’ said James when he heard about his nomination. James took his father to and from all his dialysis appointments, spending weeks giving love and support. 

‘James truly showed love, support and care, making sure Michael was comfortable each and every day, being there no matter what,’ said James’ nominator.
