Debbie Le Page has been nominated for Carer of the Year award

‘My daughter Debbie is a true angel, she is ready to help others day and night,’ said Rose Weston, Debbie’s nominator and mother. 

Debbie, along with her husband Steve, takes care of Rose making sure Rose has everything she needs, Debbie is Rose’s full-time carer and always makes sure her mum has everything she needs every day. 

Rose lives with them in an attached bungalow where Rose has her own space but always has company whether from Debbie or Steve. 

‘I always say every house should have a Debbie,’ said Rose who is now 88 and believes Debbie is a wonderful person who is always willing to drop everything to help someone.

Debbie happily does the shopping, cleaning and all the housework for Rose as she cannot do it herself. 

‘I’m proud, I feel like I earned it, but I am surprised,’ said Debbie when she heard about her nomination.
