Grant Gallie has been nominated for Customer Service of the Year

‘You are a good man, Grant Gallie.’

Mr Gallie has been working as a concierge for just under two years and loves everything that comes with the role, after working in various sectors including on a farm with 20,000 chickens and training with the army whilst being part of a charitable force.

In nominating Grant for the award Nicola Challis said he is a ‘huge asset’ to the lives of everyone living in their building, which she would like to remain unnamed.

‘He is consistently pleasant and courteous, unfailingly helpful and always goes the extra distance to help people,’ Nicola said.

‘There are easier tasks and harder ones in his role but he approaches them all with a smile and a positive attitude.’

Grant will celebrate his tenth year as the building’s concierge this October and said that he loves to have a chat with all of the residents and cheer them up.

‘It is nice to listen to them, go to the shops for them if needed and just really be there for them.’
