Princess Elizabeth Hospital catering staff have been nominated for the Customer Service of the Year award

FOOD, glorious food – the Princess Elizabeth Hospital catering staff have been nominated for Customer Service of the Year for producing.

The team of about 20, including chefs, a delivery driver and office workers, supply patients with food at the PEH and beyond.

Russels Social Club is one organisation who benefit from their services and the club’s manager, Denise Cohu, has thanked the team for their help by nominating them for the Pride of Guernsey.

‘They are an incredible team who do so much to support all our clients who would struggle to prepare a nutritious, wholesome meal and to enjoy the social aspect of a meal shared with friends,’ Denise said.

‘The chefs do a great job producing a varied choice of food on what must be a tight budget – the delivery man is second to none and the catering staff are so, so kind and helpful at short notice.’
