Kerry Le Flock volunteered at Health Connections organisation for 11 years as a health connector.
‘I’ve known Kerry for two years and she does lots of things to support people, meeting one-to-one and putting people at ease,’ said Kerry’s nominator who would like to remain anonymous.
Kerry’s outstanding kindness, compassion, support, selflessness and knowledge has made a significant impact on those around her.
Kerry always goes the extra mile to help anyone who comes to her and doesn’t stop until they get the help they need, going out of her way to find a solution.
Throughout her time at Health Connections Kerry supported anyone in need within and outside the community, listening to people’s issues and always finding someone to help. ‘It’s hard to put into words how people like Kerry make you feel,’ said Kerry’s nominator.
‘It’s shocking, I’m surprised’ said Kerry when she heard about her nomination.
‘It’s very rewarding to help people, and there is never one thing people need.’
‘I really enjoyed working with people,’ said Kerry who worked in the voluntary transport service and the off-island service.
