‘I feel really honoured to have received a nomination, I am so privileged to work with such an amazing group of young people in my young carers group that make my job in supporting them so enjoyable,’ said Isabelle when she heard about her nomination.
Isabelle has been part of the Youth Commission for the past year and a half and has been the lead of the young carers service for just under a year.
Isabelle organises residentials, alongside allowing the group to feel represented and have a voice.
‘I enjoy being a consistent person who they know they can rely on and come to for support if they are having a difficult time,’ said Isabelle.‘She has helped me massively with developing confidence’ said Annabel Fenn, Isabelle’s nominator.
‘I truly believe she deserves this award as she has helped so many young individuals,’ said Annabel.
Isabelle can always tell when someone is upset and has helped Annabel to grow into the confident adult she is today.
