Glenda Ogier

Glenda Ogier has been nominated for Grandparent of the Year

All who know Glenda are aware that she is known as Nan. She is a grandparent of four and a great-grandparent of 12. Her door is always open for everyone, friends and family, who might want a cuppa, as 'the kettle is always on'.

‘She does everything for everyone, and her house is open to everyone,’ said Lily Wyatt-Nicole, Glenda’s nominator and granddaughter.

‘I along with many others believe Glenda is a star nominee for Grandparent of the Year this year. 

‘She is our queen and has always been our Grandparent of the Year and always will be,’ said Lily. 

Glenda said, when contacted about her nomination: ‘I’m proud, I didn’t expect it, that’s really nice.' 

Glenda is full of great advice and is excellent at supporting everyone around her.

‘I love seeing them all, helping them and swimming in the pool with them.’
