Debbie Taylor has been nominated for the Grandparent/s of the Year award

DEBBIE TAYLOR has been nominated for grandparent of the year for her unwavering support across her family.

‘She always puts herself second in order to prioritise her family and her grandchildren, whether that be babysitting, school pick-ups, sleep-overs, emergency childcare or simply advice on the end of a phone,’ said nominator Laura Tachon.

‘The exceptional level of support is even more remarkable given the challenging circumstances she and my dad have faced over the past couple of years with my dad being diagnosed with stage four cancer.’

Debbie said she was happy to do it. She just enjoys the company of her grandchildren.

‘It’s just nice being able to have time to spend with the children while they are young. Before you know it they are all growing up. My eldest is just starting school, and with my youngest at 16 months, I’ll get to start the process all over again.’
