Tracey and Ady Gallienne have been nominated for the Pride of Guernsey Grandparents of the Year award.
Tracey and Ady are grandparents to five young grandchildren and love taking them to sunny Sark to stay with them for the six weeks of the summer holidays.
Tracey and Ady have worked incredibly hard all their lives and work even harder now to make sure their grandchildren and children are happier than ever. The pair are willing to do anything for anyone in need and always help their daughters look after their children.
‘I love the cuddles and everything and what you get back from them,’ said Tracey when asked what she enjoys the most about being a grandparent, and they both love bringing the grandchildren over to Sark for the summer for the beach life.
‘Me and my sisters have had a wonderful life, and they deserve everything in the world and all the luck,’ said Lucy Gallienne their nominator and daughter.
