Maxime, 10, and Charlotte, 8, started up their business Made By Us on Facebook in January this year.
There, they sell their own bracelets, jewellery, wallets and all kinds of toys.
Their parents first only intended Made By Us to be a learning support for them to introduce practical applications of maths, DT and writing.
Now, alongside the siblings making their own pocket money, they are also making an impact on children’s lives around the world as well as right here on the island.
‘What I love about them is that they have also recently made and boxed up 100 Lego puzzles for the Smile for Georgie Foundation for free,’ said their nominator Claire Fisher.
They have also donated 38 Lego puzzles to Malawian children through the charity Hope For A Child.
One of the hardest parts for them is sorting through and washing their second-hand Lego sets.
‘They are incredible young people, and I feel they deserve some recognition for all they do for children around the world,’ Claire said.
For Charlotte, she is using her money to save up for a new toy dragon.
‘I’m really happy, excited as well,’ she said of her nomination.
