Ellie Mitchell and Hugh Rose have been nominated for Parents of the Year

Ellie and Hugh are incredible parents to three children, Asha who is six, Jonah who is two, and five-month-old Faith.

Faith was born three months prematurely and through it all Ellie and Hugh held their family together while still running their dance school and creative businesses. 

After the Faith’s birth Ellie and Hugh spent two months in England while Faith, who was truly tiny when she was born, went through many tests while fighting for her life. 

‘During this anxious, worrying time they remained doted to Jonah and Asha,’ said Emily Nuttall their nominator. 

Ellie and Hugh displayed huge strength and together they have grown stronger and come out from it all stronger. 

‘The two of them are the most determined, strong, ambitious, hard-working parents,’ said Emily.

‘Seeing my kids growing up and achieving is the most rewarding thing about being a parent,’ said Hugh. 

Hugh said that to see his children growing up and becoming their own person made him proud to be a father.
