Jocelyn De La Mare has been nominated for the Parent of the Year award.
Jocelyn is a superstar mum to five children, ages 24, 21, 19, 18 and 16. She works every day, 24 hours a day, to ensure all her children have what they need. Four of her children have additional needs so Jocelyn works even harder to make sure all her children as comfortable as they can be.
‘I can’t believe two of my children out of five have nominated me in the past two years,’ said Jocelyn when she heard about her nomination.
As well as working hard for her children, Jocelyn willingly helps her neighbours whenever needed and without complaint.
Jocelyn’s husband sadly passed away in 2020 and since then she has gone above and beyond, never expecting anything in return.
‘Spending time with them and doing what I can for them,’ Jocelyn said is what she enjoys best about being a mother.
‘Nominating my mum shows my massive thank you for all you do. Mum isn’t only Mum, she is my best friend,’ said Sapphire De La Mare, Jocelyn’ nominator and daughter.
