Gabriel Martinez-Martin

Gabriel Martinez-Martin has been nominated for the Customer Service award, sponsored by DWA.

One of his nominators, Lara Stormonth, said: ‘Gabriel is always so full of energy like an excited puppy, he is very enthusiastic about the products and so knowledgeable and helpful even with sizes on the ladies’ clothing that they sell.

‘If you are looking for gifts or for yourself, he will give you some fabulous ideas.

‘He is great fun and everyone comes out of the shop feeling lifted from seeing him. He is a true asset to Plaisirs – we love him!’

‘Gabriel is a charming person, who always makes one feel welcome to Plaisirs,’ said another nominator, who wishes to remain anonymous.

‘I visit Guernsey on average twice a year and I always call in to Plaisirs because it is such a wonderful experience.

‘Gabriel is so helpful and runs a beautiful shop. Every time I visit, he gives you such a wonderful welcome and makes you feel special.

‘Gabriel will do all he can to help you with your shopping and his advice is exceptional.

‘It’s a real joy to shop in Plaisirs.’

Gabriel was overjoyed with his nomination.

‘I love it,’ he said.

‘It’s an amazing job, the customers are incredible. Building relationships with them is amazing. Sometimes I see customers more than family.’
