Customer Service of the Year: The team at Trim Dog

THE TEAM at Trim Dog have been nominated for the Customer Service of the Year award, sponsored by Cherry Godfrey. 

‘The whole team at Trim Dog deserve the award,’ nominator Francoise Ferbrache said, ‘from Jan, Jo and Nicole who work there daily to Mayna and Karis, who work at weekends and during school holidays.

‘They are always so friendly and on hand for advice when needed.

‘Even though we live at the opposite end of the island, we come here at least once a week for our pet supplies as we want to stay loyal to them.’

The Ferbraches have two hamsters, Coco and Frosty. ‘We had hamsters from Trim Dog before these two. I reckon we’ve been visiting the shop for about five years.

‘During lockdown, they stayed open as they were classed as an essential business. They also operated an island-wide delivery service for people who were isolating, so they were probably busier than ever. Despite this, nothing was ever too much trouble for them.

‘I want to say a huge thank you to the whole team. If everyone cared about animals like they do, the world would be a better place.’
