Dennis has been working at Coop En Route St Andrew’s for more than five years.
‘Dennis always greets you with a big, warm, friendly smile and always asks if there’s anything more he can get for you,’ said his nominator, Debbie Clarke.
‘A gentle reminder on a Thursday when it’s bin night and you have forgotten bag stickers is always a bonus.
‘It's a pleasure to shop in this store as there are many other outstanding staff, but Dennis always stands out that little bit further,’ she said.
‘Dennis goes out of his way every single day he works to make the chore of shopping more enjoyable, greets you with a friendly welcome, asks how your day is going – he takes the time to really connect with customers and genuinely cares about providing fantastic customer service,’ said another nominator, Chantelle Tucker.
‘Nothing is too much trouble for him, always happy to assist and advise.
‘Lovely, friendly, outgoing man who never grumbles even when he is exhausted or has had a long shift.
‘He really is a true asset to the Coop and deserves recognition.’
