BEN NEWELL has been put forward for the Ravenscroft-sponsored Angel of the Year award.
‘I think that Ben deserves this award as I have found him to be always going above and beyond with effort,’ said nominator Annabel Fenn.
‘He is an exceptionally good clinical psychologist who works in the child and adolescent mental health service and has helped me enormously to try and overcome the struggles I have faced.
‘He is kind, caring and thoughtful and also calm and empathetic and he is absolutely brilliant at what he does.
‘He always goes above and beyond what’s required within his role, has remained in touch outside appointment times and has supported me at school and introduced me to other organisations and clubs, building my social circle and confidence and giving me the tools I have needed when times have been hard.
‘He is an absolute asset and credit to CAMHS and they should be very proud to have him as a well respected and extremely capable member of the CAMHS team. That is why I believe that Ben Newell is an excellent candidate for Angel of the year in the Pride of Guernsey awards.’
