Customer Service: The Model Shop

John Cocks has been running the shop for 57 years. He now runs it with his son Steven.

‘It’s all I have ever known. I have done it my whole life.’

Nominator Robyn Quick said: ‘The staff at the Model Shop make sure to welcome their customers and to create a friendly atmosphere as soon as they enter. 

‘They specialise in Lego and models, one of the only shops in the island to supply an expertise in this area. 

‘They are quick to let customers know when an item has come into stock and are helpful when they have any queries. My friend and I often pass through the shop just to browse and to have a chat with the lovely sales team. 

‘I would love for them to be recognised as they are a small business. More people need to check it out.’
