Grandparent/s of the Year: Maria and Vinny Ogier

MARIA and Vinny Ogier have been nominated for the Grandparent/s of the Year award, sponsored by the Channel Islands Co-operative Society.

MARIA and Vinny Ogier have been nominated for the Grandparent/s of the Year award, sponsored by the Channel Islands Co-operative Society.

They were put forward by daughter Nikita Ogier, who said: ‘I think they deserve the award because they will do anything for their grand- babies and they absolutely adore them. They are loving and caring and would do anything for them.

‘They will always go out of their way for the grand-kids and are always a massive help. They are very supportive and I am very appreciative of everything they do for the children.

‘The children are very lucky to have them in their lives and I really appreciate how affectionate they are as grandparents.

‘They make everyone’s lives a lot easier and I want them to know how important they are in the upbringing of their grandchildren and give them a massive thank you.’
