Young Achiever: Charlotte Long

CHARLOTTE LONG has been nominated for the Young Achiever of the Year award, sponsored by St Pierre Park.

Her nominator, who wishes to remain anonymous, said that she goes the extra mile to help people in many different ways.

‘Charlotte has done so much already at a young age, I am so excited to see what she does for the rest of her career.

‘She became the youngest douzenier that the island has ever had at the age of 18 in 2021 – an incredible achievement on its own.

‘She makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease when she meets them and puts her whole energy into helping and listening to others.’

Charlotte has helped out with the Sunflower Project, a support service for children and young people when they are experiencing a bereavement or someone in the family has a serious illness, offering one-to-one support and advice to families and children.

‘Her ability to do so much is so impressive – I do not know how she has time for it all.’
