JASMINE HISLOP has been nominated for the Diversity and Inclusion award, sponsored by RBC.
She was nominated for her openness towards topics surrounding religion, sexuality and politics.
Her nominator, who wishes to remain anonymous, praised her work at Trinity Church and her kind attitude.
‘Jasmine works as a youth worker at the Trinity Church, where she has provided an invaluable service,’ they said.
‘She is able to make people feel comfortable when talking about issues that have too often been approached as taboo or wrong.
‘She provides such a fresh attitude to the space that feels so welcoming and important for the future of the community of faith.
‘Jasmine will tell it like it is and give people excellent advice on where to go next.
‘As well as promoting equal rights for all, she provides a welcoming service at Sheppards Estate Agents, where she works as a sales and rental negotiator.’
