Customer Service of the Year: Millard & Co Ltd

MILLARD & CO LTD has been nominated for the Pride of Guernsey Customer Service of the Year award, sponsored by Cherry Godfrey.

Its nominator, who wished to remain anonymous, said they have become a regular customer at Millard & Co over the last year because of needing repairs on their scooter.

‘When you need help with something you’re not technically any good with, they are just the kind of people that you need,’ they said.

The anonymous nominator applauded the service and expertise in the Millard repair shop, going on to describe the staff as ‘extremely friendly and very efficient’ whenever they visited the store in Victoria Road.

Furthermore, the business’s ‘quick service, no dramas, no bluster, and reasonable rates’ were appreciated by the nominator.

They added: ‘It’s good, too, to be able to support a Guernsey business with such deep roots.’

Established in 1887, Millard & Co Ltd is the oldest family-run motorcycle business in the world. In addition, it is also the longest-established hire shop on the island.
