Customer Service of the Year: Victor Detari

VICTOR DETARI has been nominated for the Cherry Godfrey-sponsored Customer Service of the Year award.

Nominators Emily and Will Abreu said: ‘We have both worked with Victor when he was at the St Martin’s M&S branch and he really is such a joy to work with.

‘He’s always so happy and puts a smile on your face, which really makes a difference to your day.

‘Victor holds the role of till controller, which means that he often has to deal with customers as well as helping us when we are working on the till. He is always so polite and friendly with customers as well as being really cheerful and bubbly to other members of staff.

‘Victor really brightens the day at M&S and we’re all missing him in St Martin’s.’

Victor, 39, has been working at M&S for approximately a year and a half. He has recently moved from the M&S in St Martin’s to the branch at L’Islet.

‘I enjoy working at M&S. It is a good job and the people that I work with are nice,’ said Victor.
