Angel of the Year: Covid Vaccination Centre

THE volunteers at the Covid Vaccination Centre have been nominated for the Pride of Guernsey Angel of the Year award, sponsored by Ravenscroft.

Nominator Kate Corcoran wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of the CVC volunteers for the time and hard work they have put in.

She said: ‘So many folk have volunteered to help out at the Covid Vaccination Centre to ensure we are able to protect as many of our population as possible.’

Kate applauded the variety of people who have contributed to

the team.

‘Many retired nurses, doctors, physios and lots of other members of our community give up their time and energy to help staff the CVC in order to immunise as many of the Bailiwick population as possible to protect our community,’ she added.

Kate said that she was nominating the Covid Vaccination Centre ‘on behalf of the community’.

‘So many are doing this free of charge. On behalf of our community I would like to thank them for all their tireless energy and kindness.’
