Angel of the Year: Katie Sweeny of Autism Guernsey

KATIE SWEENEY of Autism Guernsey has been nominated for the Ravenscroft-sponsored Angel of the Year award by a very grateful Hannah Wallace.

In putting her forward for the award, Hannah said: ‘Katie has been our family support worker since last year. She has been the most amazing support and help, from a cup of tea and chat and advice when I’ve been finding things hard, to helping me with paperwork and coming along to meetings with me.

‘She’s kind, supportive and has made the most amazing difference to our family, especially our son, Charlie. She’s always at the end of the phone for help and support, she really is an angel and deserves recognition for all the help she gives to us and other families.’

Katie was delighted to have been nominated for the award.
