Customer Service of the Year: Jason Hamon

‘ALWAYS SMILING’, Jason Hamon has been nominated for the Cherry Godfrey-sponsored Customer Service of the Year award by Chris Murray because of his friendliness and excellent service.

‘ALWAYS SMILING’, Jason Hamon has been nominated for the Cherry Godfrey-sponsored Customer Service of the Year award by Chris Murray because of his friendliness and excellent service.

Chris highlighted the superb customer service that Mr Hamon provides, affording customers his undivided attention. ‘He makes you feel like you are his only customer.’

Chris said that while Mr Hamon is proud to stock top quality meat and seafood, which is in many cases locally sourced, Jason is also responsive to customers’ needs. 

‘If a customer wants a certain product and he does not have it, Jason will do his utmost to source it and get it.’ 

Chris said that Mr Hamon’s pride in his work is shared by his staff. 

‘He instils the same pride in his staff, who are second to none.

‘Mr Hamon took a big risk leaving his 

last job, where he had worked since 

he was a boy, to set up his family business.’

Chris says it was a risk worth taking: ‘You cannot beat his customer service and he certainly deserves to be recognised in the Pride of Guernsey awards.’
