Customer Service of the Year: JL Innovation

JL INNOVATION, the performance and vehicle specialists, have been nominated for the Cherry Godfrey-sponsored Customer Service of the Year award.

JL INNOVATION, the performance and vehicle specialists, have been nominated for the Cherry Godfrey-sponsored Customer Service of the Year award.

The 15 nominations received praised the company, with special mention given to founder James Larbalestier and the company’s head technician Tom Bourgaize, for donating more than 100 hours of their time to repairing essential workers’ vehicles while the island battled with the coronavirus lockdown. 

One such customer was Mike Lucas, who applauded them for their hard work and dedication during such a difficult time.

‘Absolutely amazing customer service,’ he said.

Another, Diane Perkins, said they were superb.

‘They did all the carers’, doctors’, nurses’ and essential workers’ cars and anything that needed fixing – all for free,’ she said.

‘They went above and beyond and most definitely deserve this award.’

Claire Burns added: ‘They were an amazing team helping out the key workers making sure their cars were safe to run and at a very stressful time.’
