Pride of Guernsey: Dr Caroline Yates

A CARING, supportive doctor has been nominated for the Ravenscroft-sponsored Angel of the Year Award.

Caroline Yates works at the Longfrie and Queen’s Road surgeries and one of her patients said the doctor had really helped her.

‘Dr Yates is an amazing, caring GP to me,’ said the patient, who wished to remain anonymous.

‘She is always there for advice, support and guidance, in particular when life throws you hard times.’

The patient said Dr Yates was very understanding.

‘She makes time for you and has given me some sound advice,’ she said.

‘She deserves to win as she is dedicated to her patients.’
