Pride of Guernsey: Rob Lihou

THE hard work of RH Gaudion and Sons employee Rob Lihou has been recognised with a nomination for the Alexander Daniels-sponsored Customer Service of the Year Award.

Nominator Caroline Le Cras said she and her partner felt he truly deserved the award.

‘He is always so friendly, very helpful and when I first started painting he’d help me with my paints.’

Ms Le Cras said Mr Lihou even went out of his way to order specific paints for her when the ones she wanted were not in the shop.

‘Me and my partner always have good service from him,’ she said.

Ms Le Cras said they miss seeing Mr Lihou when he is not in the shop.

‘Recently he’d been on holiday and we did miss him at the shop, lovely man.

‘We feel he deserves this award.’
