Pride of Guernsey: Robert Steen

CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THE YEAR nominee Robert Steen never wavers in energy and enthusiasm, no matter what he goes through, and is hospitable to all.

Mr Steen, who works at Les Cotils, has been nominated by Janine Le Sauvage for the Alexander Daniels-sponsored award this year.

‘Robert’s enthusiasm for what he does never changes – even a knee operation cannot hold him back,’ she said.

‘He has a fantastic personality, natural charm and makes all visitors to Les Cotils feel so very welcome.’

Mrs Le Sauvage has always felt very welcome, holding her 65th, 70th and 73rd birthdays wherever Robert was working.

‘He is much appreciated by all who know him, both locals and visitors.

‘Nothing is ever too much trouble.’
