Pride of Guernsey: Your chance to say thank you

RAVENSCROFT has been sponsoring the Angel of the Year category at both the Pride of Guernsey and Pride of Jersey Awards since they were launched. Every year we wonder whether the nominations will be as impressive as the previous year and every single year, we are amazed at the kind and selfless people who work as doctors, nurses, medics, and social and health workers. The Angel of the Year award recognises those individuals and teams who dedicate their lives to looking after people at a time they need it the most.

The hours are long and often anti-social, the work can be tiring and unglamorous but the care and support they give never wanes.

They make Guernsey the unique and special place it is and deserve to be recognised and thanked.

Every year, Ravenscroft provides financial support through sponsorship and donations to charities, voluntary organisations, sporting clubs, and community and cultural events. We know the difference that our support makes to the thousands of people involved in the wide range of events and activities, but we also know that none of it would happen without all those who organise, volunteer and officiate. That’s why Ravenscroft is delighted that we can once again be part of the Pride of Guernsey Awards, which recognises those in the community who selflessly give their time to help others.

We know there are still angels out in the community who have yet to be recognised or who deserve to be nominated again. The team at Ravenscroft hopes that islanders will help us once again to find and celebrate Guernsey’s angels.
