Pride of Guernsey: Antony Green and the Longfrie Inn team

‘A WARM and genuine welcome’ is provided at the Longfrie Inn, according to Mike Pepperrell, who has nominated Antony Green and his team for the Warm Welcome of the Year award, sponsored by Guernsey Gas.

‘I have known Antony and Izzy Ogbeide for many years,’ Mike said. ‘They run the Longfrie Inn extremely well and always provide superb food at a reasonable price.
‘The four rooms of accommodation are spotlessly clean and have everything you would require.’
It is ‘ideally’ situated close to the airport for business people and visitors alike.
‘I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough, or the atmosphere and terrific food that they provide all year round.
‘Plus Antony’s cooked breakfasts are the best I have eaten anywhere on the island.
‘They took me in over Christmas, that’s the kind of people they are.
‘I don’t believe they are in it for financial gain, I think they just love the people,’ said Mike.
‘They are doing a fabulous job, down to earth, kind and passionate – they clearly love doing it.’
