Pride of Guernsey: Mark Renouf

A STUDENT who has just completed her GCSEs at La Mare de Carteret High School is in no doubt that her father, Mark Renouf, is a worthy contender for the Christies Group-sponsored Parent/s of the Year award.

Emily Renouf, 16, said: ‘During the last 18 months I have been through a rough time and my dad has been there for me when no one else has. He has helped me face any problems head on, given me motivation when I have had none, and has never doubted that I could come through it. He has taken the best care of me that he possibly could.
‘I’m forever grateful to him and for him to get this award would show my appreciation.’
