Jason has been running Surf & Turf since its inception seven years ago.
‘Yet again, Jason and his team surpass all others for the best customer service,’ said his nominator, Chris Murray.
‘Ever since he started up a few years ago he’s provided excellent service.
‘Every customer is their only customer. He always has a smile and is interested in you, even when extremely busy. They know their regular customers by name, but every customer gets superb service.
‘Not in stock? Jason will do his best to get what you want. Even got me kangaroo and ostrich.
‘A large amount of food is supplied within the Bailiwick, for example Sark lamb, Herm oysters, local crab, lobsters, scallops. The ample supply of vegetables and other foodstuffs is an added bonus.
‘This year I have thought hard about who should get the award. There are many, but for me and my family, Jason deserves it.
‘I highly recommend him for this year’s Pride of Guernsey Customer Service award.’
Jason was delighted with the nomination, but made sure to highlight that customer service takes a team effort.
‘I’m only as good as my team,’ he said.
