Lydia has been working at Iris and Dora Studios for five years and loves every day at work inspiring people young and old to become creative.
‘She just went above and beyond,’ said Kelly Proctor, her nominator.
Kelly’s daughter had her birthday party at Iris and Dora and Lydia just ‘took all the stress away’, said Kelly.
‘I’m super-excited,’ said Lydia when she heard about the nomination.
Not only is Lydia a calming presence but she brings the fun out of every situation to make everyone happier.
‘Children’s birthday parties can be quite manic, but she just made it so calm, and the children loved her,’ said Kelly.
After having been to Iris and Dora a couple times before, Kelly was more than impressed with Lydia’s joy and calmness she brought to the party.
Lydia adores her job and everyone she meets watching them explore their arty side.
‘I love meeting everyone and inspiring them to be creative without judgement,’ said Lydia.
Her positive attitude and caring nature make Iris and Dora all the better.
‘She is a real asset to the fabulous Iris and Dora team,’ said Kelly.
