Maggie Pryke

Maggie Pryke has been nominated for the Carer of the Year award, sponsored by Specsavers.

Maggie has been nominated for her volunteering with the Guernsey Cheshire Home. Maggie has been volunteering for several years and volunteers five times a week as part of their activities department. 

Her nominator Kelly Ogier said: ‘Maggie is truly unique. She makes time for all our residents; she is kind, caring, a good listener, and her interaction with everyone is fabulous. 

‘She is keen to do anything that is asked of her.

‘Everyone thinks the world of her.

‘She is well liked among all our day visitors, residents and staff. She is well respected by the Cheshire Home family. 

‘Maggie is a gentle and excellent listener, who makes time for everyone.

‘We all appreciate the time help and support she gives us, and this is our biggest thank you to her.’
