Emma Sarahs

Emma Sarahs has been nominated for the Carer of the Year award, sponsored by Specsavers.

Emma is devoted to her business, Silver Paws, and her family, always working hard for her clients and her 13-year-old foster child.

‘She set up her own successful dog-walking business and goes out in all weather conditions,’ said her nominator and sister, Louise Sarahs. 

Emma’s business does not solely focus on dogs but caters for all pets, helping out owners when they need it.

‘We help out with anything,’ said Emma. 

When it comes to dogs, though, each walk is tailored to suit each animal.

‘I’m shocked, really shocked,’ said an emotional Emma when told of her nomination. 

Alongside this successful business, Emma is busy raising her foster child with her partner, James.

She said the most important thing about family life was to give her foster son the opportunities he would not have otherwise had.

'She’s a great foster parent and deserves an award,’ said Louise.
